Conserve resources and reuse as much as possible.
Unfortunately, this simple realization has not yet reached all areas of the global economy in terms of sustainable, resource-saving packaging.
We at neoFroxx are firmly convinced that the great challenges of our time – be it the Corona pandemic, exclusion, the littering of our planet or climate change – can only be overcome if everyone participates. And we would like to do our part to counteract the waste and energy-intensive new production of packaging materials a little.
Therefore, in a small but, in our opinion, very important step, we have decided to reuse as many cartons and packing materials as possible for shipping goods – even if you can see that the packaging has been around a bit or even that other brands/company logos are visible. Recycling is our priority. Our only criteria for repackaging is the structural integrity of the materials.
Unfortunately, we are not able to recycle packaging for hazardous goods. Here we are legally obliged to use new cartons.
As filling material for our packages we use only recycled styrofoam flakes or our waste paper – in the form of Karopacks.
The styrofoam boxes for refrigerated goodsare also reused. Or we use novel and sustainable straw panels to insulate the packages.
In some cases, we also collect the empty containers from our customers, clean them and then return them to the cycle. Feel free to contact us if you would like to have such a reuse for your products as well!
What are the next steps? The large amount of plastic used in our chemical industry, especially in the pharmaceutical sector is generally a thorn in our side. Therefore, we plan to reduce the use of plastic as much as possible and, when possible, replace it with alternative materials once our inventory has been depleted. However, there are legal hurdles – especially in the GMP area – here as well.
